Bassetlaw District Council is showing that it is not shy of dealing with customer complaints.
The Council’s “Speak Up – We’re Listening” initiative encourages complaints, comments, concerns and compliments on its wide range of services.
Local residents can contact the council by telephone, letter and email as well as in person at the council offices.
Customer feedback is handled by a single point contact – a real person with a real name – and a direct line telephone number.
Bassetlaw Council’s customer standards guarantee a response to complaints within 15 working days, with regular progress reports along the way.
All formal complaints are reported to senior managers and where neccessary, improvements to council services made.
